Clogged gutters can be a pain. Debris such as leaves, sticks, and dirt can run down your roof and get stuck in your gutters. This can cause water to not drain properly from your gutters.
If left unchecked, the water and debris can cause damage to your home. In this video, you will learn the basics of cleaning your gutter.
If your gutter has wet debris stuck in the gutter, it will be very muddy. You will want to clean out this debris by hand instead of spraying it out. This way you do not get the side of your house muddy. Get yourself a pair of gloves and drop the debris down to the ground. Plants may also get stuck and require you to pull out the root system. Once, the debris has been unclogged, the water should drain out the downspout.
If the debris is dry, you can use a hand blower to blow out the debris. This is the faster method, but only works if it has not rained in the past few days. Also, there may still be some larger chunks of debris that may have to be removed by hand.
