Clogged drains can be an absolute pain. Dirty water will accumulate in your sink causing it to splash up onto your hands when used. Thankfully, there are several ways to unclog a drain quickly.
You could also opt to call a plumber to have them unclog the drain for you. In this video, you will learn how to unclog a drain quickly on your own.
The first step to unclogging your drain is to pour hot water down the drain. This will melt any grease or soften any hard debris that may be clogging your drain. If that doesn’t work, pour one cup of baking soda and two cups of vinegar down the drain. This creates a chemical reaction which can clean out the drain. Lastly, pour some more hot water down the drain. A third method is to use a tool such as a drain snake to attempt to physically dislodge the debris. Lastly, if all else fails, its time to start taking the drain apart. Make sure the water is off, then place a bucket under the drainage pipe. Then, unscrew the connector that connects the pipes so that you can look inside to find what is clogging your sink. You can also use the drainage snake in this step as well.
