Have you ever wondered how 304 and 302 stainless steel differ from one another? Or are you curious about how they are similar since they are both types of stainless steel? In this video, they will show us how to tell the difference between these two stainless steels and what makes them different and similar.
These stainless steels are similar because they are made of the same materials. These materials are nickel, carbon, chromium, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, and silicon.
There are different amounts of each material that make up these stainless steel, which makes them either 304 or 302. They both have high durability as well.
Now onto the differences, they both have different tensile strengths. The 302 stainless steel is 90,000 PSI, while the 304 stainless steel is 85,000 PSI. This means that the 302 stainless steel is stronger, and this steel is resistant to solvents, chemicals, and acids. There is also a small temperature resistance difference between the two types of steel.
Watch this entire video to learn all about the similarities and differences between these two types of stainless steel. Throughout this video, there are graphs and visuals to show us these differences and similarities.
