The first common sprinkler system repair is broken values. These values are buried in-ground and have a green lid on top. They work very similarly to the back of the toilet valve. When the diaphragm wears out and is constantly dripping water, the lowest sprinkler head will be leaking water. To fix this, technicians remove the tops and replace the diagram which usually takes about one hour.
The second common sprinkler system repair is for an old sprinkler head that leaks water. There is a seal at the bottom which wears out over time. You’ll notice more water bubbling around the base than the sprinkler head. To fix this, the sprinkler head is replaced.
The last common repair is for sprinkler heads that wear out. There is a rotor that goes back and forth that gets stripped and worn out. This also requires a replacement.
