This YouTube video from JR Electric School goes through the creation of a home’s electrical wiring diagram.
Draw Rooms
Create a diagram of the rooms you need to wire. Include common spaces, bedrooms, and places like the bathroom.
You also need to add the area where the fuse box is located and how the wiring is distributed.
Point Out Electrical Component
For each room, detail the electrical components involved. For instance, the power outlets and ceiling fans. Also, include the switches required to power these components.
Circuit Breaker
When you’ve detailed the rooms the next step piece of the electrical wiring diagram is to add the circuit breaker and its proper installation. Here, you add the number of fuses required to power the items listed. You also want to draw the electrical lines and how they connect within the circuit breaker.
You need two lines — live (L) and neutral (N). They must be designated with different colors to avoid confusion. In this video the N line is red and the L is black.
Once you connect the lines between the fuses you want to do the same with the rooms you diagramed.
