Posted on July 15, 2013 by admin

Online note taking software

The top note taking apps are all different and unique in their own way, but there are plenty of ways that they all overlap, that is, there are certain features that all top note taking apps have. Here is a list of three services that top note taking apps have, so you know what to expect when perusing to see what their differences are.

1. Sync files on devices.

Chances are you have emailed yourself a file to work on at school or work, and emailed it back home when done, and continued this back and forth cycle until you have past draft after past draft on your computer. It can be difficult to keep track of which is the most current and suddenly you go to print and send the wrong one. All your work apparently lost.

The top note taking apps will allow you to keep everything together. You download it off the app, work on it, then reupload it so it replaces the old draft. Easy as that.

2. Read files and notes.

The top note taking apps will allow you to open files that other office utilities will not allow you to. You are going to want an app that reads the many, many different types of files that are out there. Although you will primarily have to worry about .pdf or .doc files, it will be very handy to be able to open spreadsheets or obscure word documents.

3. Edit notes on the fly.

Everyone has had an idea while away from their computer. If you do not write it down immediately, then gone from your mind forever it will be. The top note taking apps will allow you to create a quick memo to yourself on the fly so you do not forget.

So whether you search for the best note taking app for college or free ebook apps or free collaboration tools online, these are the things you are going to want as a bare minimum from the top note taking apps available on the market.
