Reasons for Removal:
Of course, the main reason for tree and stump removal is to clean up a property. A dead tree isn’t something to keep in a yard.
If it’s cut down, the stump might look okay at first but eventually erode.
Besides this, the reason to remove a tree or stump is to protect the property. If you cut down a decayed tree the stump still has disease. As a result, fungi and other issues spread throughout the rest of your yard and even to your home.
There’s also the case of pests. Once they bore into the soft skin of a decayed stump they could lay eggs. In turn, your property might be infested by thousands of insects.
As this video describes, it’s best not to wait to remove a tree or stump. Not doing so could result in severe damage that takes thousands of dollars to fix.
